Ayushman Bharat School Health and Wellness Programme (SHWP) is a Government of India initiative which aims to foster growth, development and educational achievement of school going children by promoting their health and wellbeing. It is a joint collaborative programme of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) and Ministry of Education (MoE). As part of the programme, two teachers, in every school, designated as Health and Wellness Ambassadors (HWAs), are trained across 11 themes to transact health promotion and disease prevention information to students in the form of interesting and interactive activities and promote joyful learningSHWP application is a simple and easy to use reporting application for HWAs, developed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. HWAs can use this app to report on the various school-based activities conducted with students. The application also enables HWAs to undertake pre and post-test assessment following their completed 5 days training. Additionally, it serves as a resource center on the themes covered under SHWP that can be used by HWAs as a ready reference. SHWP application does not collect any personal data of student, nor is linked to any other site.
